本文作者以人教版八年級上冊Unit5 Do you want to watch a game show ? Section B 2a-2e 教學(xué)案例為例，分析英語教學(xué)中如何實現(xiàn)核心素養(yǎng)和教學(xué)設(shè)計的結(jié)合。

【教材分析】這是一節(jié)閱讀課，閱讀語篇圍繞卡通片這一電影類型展開，主要談?wù)撘粋€為學(xué)生熟知的美國卡通形象——米老鼠（Mickey Mouse）,學(xué)生通過閱讀了解卡通片在美國文化中的地位。根據(jù)本單元的話題及單元設(shè)計，教師在課堂設(shè)計上重視文化背景知識的輸入，在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生閱讀技能的同時，更注重文化意識的培養(yǎng)。

【教學(xué)目標(biāo)】

1.語言知識目標(biāo)。掌握課文中的生詞：culture,famous,appear,become, rich, successful, main, reason, common, unlucky, lose, ready, character, simple。掌握核心短語：think of, come out, one of the main reasons, such as, was ready to, try one’s best。

2.能力目標(biāo)。運(yùn)用Skimming，Scanning以及mindmapping的閱讀策略獲取文章大意，理解文章傳遞的基本信息和深層含義。

3.文化意識。了解卡通片在美國文化中的地位，米老鼠的誕生和成名過程以及人們喜歡它的原因。

【教學(xué)重難點】

重點：掌握課文中的生詞及短語：culture,famous,appear,become, rich, successful, main, reason, common, unlucky, lose, ready, be ready to, character, simple。掌握核心短語：think of, come out, one of the main reasons, such as, was ready to, try one’s best.

難點：運(yùn)用Skimming，Scanning以及mindmapping的閱讀策略獲取文章大意，理解文章傳遞的基本信息和深層含義。

【教學(xué)過程】

Step 1 Warming-up and lead in

1.課前播放《說天下》關(guān)于米老鼠的視頻，進(jìn)行文化知識的滲透，為學(xué)生閱讀作好知識上和興趣上的準(zhǔn)備。

2.Tell students：“I bring you a cartoon character, It’s a black mouse with two large round ears,What is it ?”(板書cartoon character,同時在黑板上畫出米老鼠的頭像)。

課件上出現(xiàn)米老鼠的圖片，生動形象。

3.Ask the students：“Do you want to know moreaboutMickey Mouse?”播放《Mickey Mouse Clubhouse》視頻。（播放視頻之前，告訴學(xué)生看視頻后回答What do you think Mickey Mouse?）

學(xué)生回答：I think it’s funny/ interesting/ great.

Tell Students：“We’ll learn moreaboutMickey by reading the passage on P 38.”

Task 1 Look at the picture and Skim the passage, finish the following task.

What’s the main idea of this passage ?_____

A. What people think of cartoons.

B. Mickey Mouse, a famous symbol in American culture.

C. Some cartoons with Mickey Mouse.

設(shè)計分析：此任務(wù)的設(shè)計，既是對學(xué)生Skimming的閱讀策略的培養(yǎng)，也是對生詞的教學(xué)進(jìn)行“用中學(xué)，做中學(xué)”，體現(xiàn)了對學(xué)生英語思維的訓(xùn)練。
